Sustainable packaging made in Germany

Plantera GmbH is the expert for high-quality, compostable packaging made from food industry waste. We at Plantera think that the time is ripe for a new era. An era of packaging made from plants. Why Corn Pack? Because the raw material for our packaging is cornmeal. It is produced in large quantities in corn processing, is not suitable for further use in food production and can thus be used for the production of sustainable packaging. The production process for our packaging was developed with the Georg-August University in Göttingen and is based on extensive and patented research work. Plantera GmbH optimised the process together with the scientists and brought the material to market maturity. It holds the exclusive rights of use to this patent in the packaging field.
